Chef Chow's Shabu-Shabu Express

These are shabu shabu from Chef Chow's Shabu-Shabu Express, my newest favorite food! :) You can find it in the food court of SM Taytay. I discovered this amazing food cart last Friday while looking for a drink. yes, i was thirsty and just needed something to drink . I had no intention at all to eat during that time. But when i passed by their stall, i got so curious about these cute and delicious looking little crab meat balls so i decided to bought a bowl to try. And oh my, it really was delicious!!! The taste of the soup was great which reminds me of the mami from the old mami house in pasig na madalas kong merienda when i was a kid.

When I came home, i immediately told this great food discovery to my husband and how i instantly fell in love with its taste that is why, last night, i made a come back trip to SM taytay with my two awesome boys!

Midnight snack attack!

Last night, my husband came home late because of office bowling tournament and  brought a large grilled chicken sandwich and fries from Pizzeria Napoli. He offered fries to Jairos who was busy watching Gnomeo and Juliet at the time pero dedma :) When he finished the whole meal, tska naman nag-asked ng fries si Jairos. Since wala ng fries, nagwala tuloy ang bagets! Kaloka! So, what a better way to ease a rumbling stomach of a crying kid craving for french fries..dial 8McDO!

Jairos goes egg hunting

He do this every morning. Pag gising pa lang nya, he'd go to the backyard carrying a small basket tapos mamumulot na sya ng mga eggs. Normally, walang cage ang mga animals sa province. Pagala gala lang sila kaya yung eggs makikita mo lang kung saan-saan. Once he's done collecting eggs, he'd give them to his lola para iluto for breakfast.

Summer at CWC

Summer vacation will never be complete without having fun under the sun at Cam Sur's famous wake boarding destination, Camsur Watersports Complex (CWC)!

 

We ordered  lunch at the CWC resto and brought it to the tent that we rented for Php 200

This is the BICOLANO pizza, CWC's best seller. A pizza crust topped with laing and cheese. Yummy!

I was able to witnessed how my son managed to get off the water, pull down his pants and released his pee..hahaha!

LAGO DEL REY a man made lake situated across the wakeboarding area where we spent most of our time. Entrance fee is Php 200 each for a half day stay.

mommy! mommy! i am sick....

I feel so sad because after his first day in school, my son got sick. I noticed him coughing few days ago and then one night, he developed fever. I brought him to the clinic on the following day and the pedia said he have a mild pneumonia. As a physician, looking at my son, alam kong hindi naman serious ang condition nya at hindi ako dapat mapraning sa pag-aalala because he's very active and matakaw despite of his sickness. Kung hindi sya uubo, no one will ever think that he's sick. But as a mom, kahit simpleng colds or insect bite yan, big deal for me. {sigh}..I hope that he gets well really soon.

Jairos' first day of summer class

Today is Jairos's first day in school. Super excited kami ni Alex as we accompanied our son to school. Since the teachers let the parents to stay inside the classroom for a few minutes, I grabbed the opportunity to took some "first day in school" photo souvenirs. :)

After a few minutes, the teachers politely asked the parents to leave para makapag start ng class. As expected, as soon as the parents left, the kids started crying. Some of them cried the whole class period. Kawawa naman. Buti na lang behave si Jairos.
